QUEST OF CHAOS

Quest of Chaos is an interactive performance installation by Shock Therapy Arts, taking inspiration from Japanese game shows, retro video games and animated series. Commissioned by SPRINGTIME Gold Coast, participants get to take on a series of obstacle course challenges, putting their physical and mental skills to the test!

An ancient magical object has been discovered washed ashore on the beach by a young child. The object, a seal for an interdimensional portal, The Crystal Gate, was inadvertently activated, allowing an array of strange, mischievous and hostile beings to pass through. Led by the dreadful villain King Chaos, the beings are creating mayhem and terror.

Competitors are challenged to become everyday heroes by defeating the gang of strange misfits in a series of challenges, and send them scrambling back through the Crystal Gate, to the far away lands from whence they came. Step up, and conquer Quest of Chaos!
